NN Accountability Bookkeeping & Training Group is a registered Australian business (ABN: 97 161 187 382) providing bookkeeping, Xero training and support, BAS preparation, and taxation accounting services. Our principal place of business is in Queensland, Australia.

• Service providers, third-party software and platforms we use to deliver our services (such as Xero, scheduling tools, or email platforms), who are required to handle your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws
• The services behind this website, specifically. When you book through this site, your name, email address and booking details are handled by Calendly. When you request the Xero Health Check, your email address is handled by MailerLite. When you send an enquiry through our contact form, the name, email address, phone number and message you provide are handled by Web3Forms.
• Professional advisors, such as our own accountants, lawyers, or insurers, where necessary
• Government bodies, such as the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), where required by law or with your authority
• With your consent, to any other party where you have given us permission to do so

Where these three services keep your information, and for how long. Calendly is run from the United States by Calendly, LLC, and your booking details are stored there. MailerLite is run by MailerLite, Inc. in the United States, and stores subscriber details in a data centre in the European Union. Web3Forms is run from India by Web3Creative, and stores contact form enquiries on Amazon Web Services, encrypted, for a maximum of three years before deleting them. Web3Forms also passes the email address and IP address of anyone who uses our contact form to two spam-filtering services, CleanTalk and Akismet, so that the form is not flooded with automated submissions. Neither Calendly nor MailerLite publishes a fixed period for how long it keeps this information. Your right to ask us to delete this information is set out in section 9, and how long we keep records ourselves is in section 10.

Where we share information with overseas recipients (for example, cloud-based software platforms), we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle your information in a way consistent with Australian privacy law.

8. Storage and Security of Your Information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. This includes the use of secure systems, password protection, and limiting access to personal information to those who need it to perform their role.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to or from our website.

9. Your Rights and Accessing Your Information

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request that we correct any inaccurate or out-of-date information
• Request that we delete your personal information (subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records)

To make any of the above requests, please contact us using the details in section 12 below. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe, and no later than 30 days.

10. Retention of Information

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, and as required by law. For example, financial records related to our bookkeeping and tax services may be retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with Australian taxation law. When information is no longer required, we take steps to securely destroy or de-identify it.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including Xero and other partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
