Integration SpecialistWith over 20 years of executive leadership in software engineering for some of Australia's largest corporations, Stephen is the technology backbone of NN Accountability. His depth in IT, combined with people leadership and a genuine appetite for innovation, is what puts current technology in front of clients rather than behind them.
Stephen specialises in custom Xero integrations, particularly where the standard solutions do not go far enough. By building tailored workflows that eliminate manual data entry and streamline complex processes, he helps businesses move into a more automated, accurate and far less stressful accounting environment. Solving the technical problems that off-the-shelf tools cannot has been a turning point for a number of clients.
Outside of the tech world, Stephen's creativity shows on the dance floor, where he teaches Cuban salsa with his partner Nikoletta. When he is not leading classes, he is happily spending time with their young family.

Usually yes. I build Xero integrations and API connections, including Cliniko and practice-management software and eCommerce and payment platforms, and the part that decides whether a connection helps or creates work is fee treatment: merchant fees and GST landing in the right accounts.
