Jitka joined NN Accountability in 2022 as an intern and quickly grew into her current role as a Senior Bookkeeper. She thrives on the detail and structure of bookkeeping, whether that is solving a complex reconciliation or supporting clients with their daily financial operations.
Originally from the scenic South Bohemian region of the Czech Republic, Jitka studied at a business college before beginning her career at a local government office. She then spent seven years in the UK managing hospitality operations, where she gained hands-on experience in team leadership, financial reporting and customer service.
After relocating to Australia, Jitka formalised her passion for numbers by earning a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting and a Diploma of Payroll Services. Her well-rounded background gives her an unusual ability to understand client needs from both a financial and an operational perspective. Today she prepares BAS and payroll for our bookkeeping and BAS clients and our payroll clients.
When she is not working with numbers, Jitka enjoys beekeeping, gardening and chasing a ball with her four energetic children.

Who prepares BAS and payroll in Xero?
I do, alongside reconciliation and month-end close. The aim is a file where you could run a report on any given day and trust what it tells you, which means reconciliation that actually reconciles, supplier bills coded correctly, and GST that agrees with what was lodged.
