A free 30-minute call
By video, or in person on the Gold Coast by appointment if you would rather meet. You tell us what the business does and what is not working. We tell you what we would do first.

We look at the file before we quote
Bank reconciliation, wages payable, GST, then the balance sheet. Four reports in that order tell us most of what we need to know about the state of things.

We agree the scope in writing
What we keep, what stays with you, what happens monthly and what happens quarterly. No open-ended arrangement that neither side could describe out loud.

You get reports you can read
The same period last year beside this one, with the variances shown as percentages, so a problem is visible while you can still do something about it.

Where are you based?
On the Gold Coast, by appointment only. In person training is run at our Gold Coast office, or onsite. We also offer online appointments for clients anywhere in Australia.
Do you only work with Gold Coast businesses?
No. We work with clients across Australia and have done for years. Being local matters if you want to meet face to face. It changes nothing about the work if you do not.
Do you do tax returns as well as the bookkeeping?
Yes. Company, trust, sole trader and individual returns, prepared by a team that already knows your Xero file, so nothing has to be explained twice.
Do we have to be on Xero?
For the ongoing work, yes, and it is a deliberate limit. We are a Xero Platinum Partner and work exclusively in Xero, which is how we stay genuinely expert in it. If you are on MYOB, QuickBooks or spreadsheets, moving across is work we do often.
What does it cost?
It depends on the state of the file and how much of the month you want to hand over, so we quote after looking rather than before. The free 30-minute call is where that starts, and there is no charge for it.
Are you a tax accountant, or a bookkeeper?
Both, in the one practice. Most businesses end up with a bookkeeper who keeps the file and a tax accountant who sees it once a year, and the two do not always agree. Here the same team keeps the books and prepares the return from the same Xero file, so the return is built on figures that have already been reconciled.
